"Adornment"

Curated by Bettye Hicks, this collection of works from the popular Upcountry forum of artists intends to interpret the many definitions of “Adornment.” The exhibition includes CAFfeine members Allen Coleman, Melissa Earley, Darlene Fuhst, JJ Ohlinger, Deborah Pagano, Alexia Timberlake Boyd along with invited artists Todd McDonald from Clemson and hailing from Arlington, Texas,  Leighton McWilliams and Susan Sterling.

In conjunction with this exhibition the Museum will, on August 18 from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m., host CAFfeine Contemporary Art’s “Explorum Forum”on Adornment. This Interactive discussion with the artists about their museum exhibition will also present other artists addressing similar themes and invites the audience to actively participate in the discussion. Come early to see the exhibit and spend and hour with the artists.
